What is a Mastermind?

Have you heard people talk about being in a mastermind group? If so, do you know what they meant by the term mastermind?

Well if you don't know, I’m going to break it down for you because a mastermind might just be what you need for your salon business!

 

Tony Robbins, one of the nation’s top life and business strategists, defined a
A mastermind group as ‘a group of peers who meet to give each other advice and support'. There’s a lot more involved but that’s the main idea.

A mastermind group brings amazing professionals together, most of the time from the same industry, to learn from each other, come up with creative ideas, problem-solve and more.

Being in a mastermind group requires commitment and confidentiality; everyone must be willing to show up and actively participate as well as keep any confidential information that is shared private. The group is valuable because members support each other, are honest and show respect.

For the salon industry, think about lots of seasoned salon professionals coming together to brainstorm and newer professionals coming in with innovative ideas to give feedback, find solutions to common problems, strategize, set goals and hold each other accountable. How amazing does that sound?
