Hey there, Friend!
I'm Brandie Bracy.
I’m a wife to my husband Nate, mom to my two boys Cope (6) and Mac (3), and step-mom to Addi (13). Most importantly, I’m a daughter of God. I get to live out my calling every day, helping salon owners, estheticians, and stylists build wildly successful businesses that make more money and give you the freedom to enjoy life on your own terms.
I love the beach, mountains, traveling, adventure, and all things marketing. You’ll usually find me chilling out to Netflix, although sometimes I do enjoy a good book. I never saw myself as a cat lady, but Frankie and Peanut have opened my mind (and my heart) to the feline world.
Owning a business wasn’t always my plan… but it’s worked out to be the absolute best job I could have dreamed of! (God leads us where we’re supposed to be… isn’t that the coolest?)
My Entrepreneurial Journey
2010
After obtaining a Finance degree, I graduated from law school and began working full-time as an attorney. (This fact often surprises people!) But life would have different plans and God did too. So, I listened to what He was calling me to do, and never looked back.
2012
Took a big leap of faith and left my job as an attorney to start my own business. Why? I wanted to be able to care for my grandparents, who were in their 90's and needed more support. Like so many of you, I needed to have a truly flexible schedule I could control, while enjoying my career and caring for myself and my family.
2013
Learned everything I could about how to build a successful business using online marketing, social media, created my own first website, and that would lead me from working in my garage, to a team of 5 all-female cabinet painting business from $0 well into 6 figures in under 2 years. It wasn't because I was the most experienced…. it was because I knew how to market myself and my business.
2014
Continued learning from experts, coaches, courses and honing my business and marketing skills. I spent 10 years in the customer service, brick and mortar business before starting my own business in 2012. I continued to build a thriving business. (These are the exact things I teach salon owners today to grow their clients, make more money in less time!)
2015 - 2017
Had two baby boys, Cope and Mac and took 2 totally paid 3-month maternity leaves thanks to the sustainable business I had built. I worked none and still brought in my regular salary – it is possible to own your own business, take lots of vacations, paid time off, save for retirement and build a business that works for you whether you are servicing clients or not!
2019
Realized the marketing and business skills and foundations I’d learned and implemented could help salon owners, suite owners, booth renters and estheticians create a business that made more money and gave them more time and freedom! I started coaching salon owners and loved watching the major transformations we achieved.
2020
Salon Business Academy opened its doors and started changing lives! This 8-week course teaches salon owners the 5 core business foundations and growth marketing tools they need to build a sustainable, thriving business. Oh, and I get to come alongside to show you what works and what no longer does based on hundreds of my students. I love getting to know each of my members personally and seeing their lives change. It’s pretty awesome!
