So you started your salon business and things are going good, but now you are ready to take it to the next level. Let’s look at some ways you can level up in your salon business.

 

#1 Get more clients

This is easier said than done sometimes but there are strategic ways you can bring new people in. If you don’t already have a referral program then you need to start one. All you have to do is offer a discount to current clients who send new clients your way. People trust their friends and family and so recommendations/referrals are key.

#2 Offer something new

Another thing you can do is offer unique services that not all salons offer, that will draw in clients who need that service. You can also bring in new, popular products to sell. But make sure you are educating your clients on those products and how they can help them. They won’t buy them if they don’t know the benefits and why they need them.

#3 Increase your prices

You can use a higher price point to set yourself apart from the competition but don’t go way outside of what you know your clientele can afford. If you are providing quality services consistently your clients will know you are worth it.

#4 Invest in your staff

Your staff are the ones providing a good experience for your clients and selling to them; which ultimately makes or breaks your salon. Take care of them by paying them well and creating a positive work environment.

Leveling up looks different for each salon because it depends on where you are in your business journey and what your goals are. Start with one area and take your time getting to each new level when you are ready.
